NFL teams reportedly consider Colin Kaepernick's vegan diet a red flag - You Don't Need Meat to Be Big and Strong

"However, the whole 'vegan diet' thing ... well, it’s working out OK for this guy named Tom Brady. So it’s probably not an issue if Kaepernick isn’t running around with spare ribs hanging out of his mouth." https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-teams-reportedly-consider-colin-kaepernicks-vegan-diet-a-red-flag/

17,003 Consecutive Pushups: World Record Held By Vegetarian

US Marine Corps Captain Alan Jones of Quantico, Virginia was struck by polio when he was five years old. Now a vegetarian, Alan could be the fittest man on Earth by amassing a record of physical accomplishments unmatched by any human that ever lived. He holds the world record for continuous sit-ups (17,003 times). In a 15-months period, he accomplished possibly the most remarkable array of physical achievements ever attained by a human being:

*
Lifted a 75-pound barbell over his head 1,600 times in 19 hours.
*
Made 3,800 basketball free throws in 12 hours, with 96 pc hit rate.

You might not expect to find a vegetarian in world championship body-building competitions. But Andreas Cahling, the Swedish body builder who won the 1980 Mr. International title, is a vegetarian, as has been for over ten years of highest level international competition. One magazine reported that Cahling's "showings at the Mr. Universe competitions, and at the professional body-building world championships, give insiders the feeling he may be the next Arnold Schwarzenegger."

Another fellow who is not exactly a weakling is Stan Price. He holds the world record for the bench press in his weight class. Stan Price is a vegetarian. Roy Hilligan is another gentleman in whose face you probably wouldn't want to kick sand. Among his many titles is the coveted Mr. America crown. Roy Hilligan is a vegetarian.

The Rise and Fall of the Protein Empire

Not all authorities agree on a precise figure for our daily needs of protein, but their calculations do fall within a specific range. It is a range that runs from a low estimate of two and a half percent of our total daily calories up to a high estimate of over eight percent. The figures at the high end end include built-in safety margins, and are not "minimum" allowances, but rather "recommended" allowances.

If we ate nothing but wheat (which is 17% protein), or oatmeal (15%), or pumpkin (15%0, we could easily have more than enough protein. If we ate nothing but cabbage (22%), we'd have over double the maximum we might need.

In fact, if we ate nothing but the lowly potato (11% protein) we would still be getting enough protein. This fact does not mean potatoes are a particularly high protein source. They are not. Almost all plant foods provide more. What it does show, however, is just how low our protein needs really are.

There have been occasions in which people have been forced to satisfy their entire nutritional needs with potatoes and water alone. Individuals who have lived for lengthy periods of time under those conditions showed no signs whatsoever of protein deficiency, though other vitamin deficiencies have occurred.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the virtual symbol of male muscular development, says in his book, Arnold's Body Building for Men:

"Kids nowadays...tend to go overboard when they discover body building and eat diets consisting of 50 to 70% protein--something I believe to be totally unnecessary... (In) my formula for basic good eating: eat about one gram of protein for every two pounds of body weight."

The top 20 cultures for longevity around the world all have rare earth (trace minerals) in their soil, he reported. Vegans, he noted, need to supplement their diet with extra nutrients, unless they're living in an environment that is very high in minerals. Wallach argued that cholesterol is an essential nutrient, and not actually the source of problems. But the statin drugs that are prescribed to millions cause a variety of diseases and disorders including Alzheimer's and hormonal imbalances, he remarked. NFL ratings plummet in first week

NFL Suffers 14% Drop in Ratings From Season Opener; Both Sides of Kaepernick Kerfuffle Celebrate

The National Football League (NFL) suffered a severe ratings drop in the 2017 season opener as compared to the 2016 season opener. Some estimate the drop at as much as 14%. Speculations are abundant as to the reasoning behind it. Some say it’s because of Hurricane Irma coverage dominating the news. Which could be a reasonable explanation in theory… but it does not take into account what was happening in 2016 which was the chaotic Presidential campaign between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Some people have just decided to claim victory in the NFL ratings drop due to their side of the coin when it comes to the drama surrounding former quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Many people are against what he did and the trend he sparked which is kneeling before the national anthem in “protest” of injustice against black men and/or “people of color.” These acts are seen as unpatriotic and anti-American. Even though Kaepernick is not in the league, many of his copycats still are and that sense of anti-patriotism is turning many fans of the game off completely. Then you have those who support Kaepernick and his copycats. They are boycotting the NFL due to Kaepernick not being employed by the league. Many of them think the reason why he is not in the league is because he “took a stand for black people.” They often ignore the business side of the NFL. It is a pure meritocracy. The truth is that Kaepernick is not that good of a quarterback and the drama he brings along makes him that much more of a person for any NFL owner and GM to avoid. At the end of the day, both sides of the coin are celebrating the ratings drop to a certain extent. But those who support Kaepernick should not be celebrating if they believe in what he purports himself to stand for, which is the upliftment of black men. 70% of the NFL is comprised of black men, many of whom are millionaires. Not only do they take care of themselves and their immediate family, they also often take care of many other people outside of their household who tend to be majority black. So why chip away at the money that these black men make? Prime example of irrational behavior brought on by groupthink.

Only One Player Sat for Anthem During NFL Season Opener — He Should Hear What These Vets Have to Say

NFL season openers were action-packed.
However, another game another controversy.
You can add one more national anthem protest to the long list of protests. It turns out that one player of the Kansas City Chiefs didn’t stand up during the national anthem to display his objection.
On Thursday, cornerback Marcus Peters was the only one who had the guts to protest during the national anthem during the season opener. Unlike the other players on the roster and coaches of the Chiefs and Patriots, Marcus Peters was caught sitting in his chair during the national anthem.
The cornerback of the Kansas City Chiefs tweeted right before the game:
However, two war veterans don’t like this kind of disrespectful behavior to remain seated during the national anthem. Josh Ghering was a Marine for 12 long years and fought in Iraq and in Afghanistan. For three years he worked as a drill instructor for the US Army.
Independent Journal Review asked Josh Ghering how is he feeling about the players protesting the flag that he bled for. The war veteran replied: “I didn’t see that as a sign of disrespect to me. I saw that as a sign of disrespect to my predecessors and to my brothers and sisters that came home in a flag draped coffin from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I respect his right to free speech, but I don’t agree/approve of what he is doing.”
Another veteran joined the discussion, Steve B. – C Co. & HHC 2nd Ranger Battalion, 12 years of law enforcement: Patrol, SWAT.
When Steve was asked what kind of emotions these national anthem protests bring into his heart, he replied:
“I would make each one of the disrespectful players participate in a police academy session with role players and simulation weapons. I would have them all meet with Gold Star families.
I would tell them how their uneducated and disrespectful actions, particularly in a time of war, give aid and comfort and encouragement to our enemies.
I would specifically call Kaepernick out for his lack of truthful information, his lack of taking action (you don’t see him patrolling Chicago), and that this is just a manipulative attempt to stay relevant, create drama and claim he is a victim.”
This trend started with Colin Kaepernick and look where it got him, on the street with no job offers.

THE PRODIGAL SON
In Jungian terms, Lucifer is the "Prodigal Son".
Although this part of us can do very serious damage to others, it still must ultimately return home.
Once it returns, it will find it was always loved -- despite its destructive tantrums.
Along the way, the Prodigal Son has been hammered so heavily by "bad karma" that every single negative thing he has done to others has been paid back -- in his own experience.

Every single thing the negative does to others is fully and completely paid back.

Reincarnation is often required to "spread out the lessons" across multiple lifetimes -- until we are strong enough to meet the experiences we created without being further damaged by them.
Karma -- the universal law of cause and effect -- is the "rules" that the "parents" have placed upon the child -- which have made the child so angry.
This wounded, furious, lonely and tortured child says "F- you, Mommy and Daddy! You can't tell me what to do!"

Contractors Dump 84 Lumber After Anti-Trump Border Wall Super Bowl Ad

 BY
TRUMP-CONSERVATIVE.COM

Super Bowl ads use to embody the very essence of patriotism, American pride and humor while leaving political commentary at the door, but last night 84 Lumber aired a minute and half commercial encouraging illegal immigrants to break the law while exposing themselves to a very risky, dangerous journey.
The commercial starts out with a Hispanic immigrant mother and her young child waking up in the morning as they start their journey to illegally immigrate to the United States.  During the journey the migrants are shown engaging in such activities as paying off what appears to be a human trafficker, who loads them into the back of a pickup truck along with other migrants.  The mother a daughter cross hard terrain and even jump on a moving train, essentially putting both their lives and limbs at risk.
84 Lumber’s Super Bowl ad ends with the migrants continuing to cross the wilderness and giving viewers a message to watch the conclusion of their journey online.

The full advertisement, which clocks in at over 5 minutes, shows the migrants finally arriving at the border only to find a massive cement wall blocking their path, which was meant to represent President Trump’s proposed border wall.  Meant to tug at the viewer’s heartstrings to gain sympathy for the mother, who put her daughter at tremendous risk with this journey, it shows the young girl pulling out an American flag that she made out of scraps of garbage that she collected on the way.
Of course, the story has a happy ending as they walk around a corner and a giant door, which opens and allows them to illegally enter the United States.
The advertisement ends with a pickup truck driving down the road with lumber and construction supplies secured in the back, driving off into the sunset. 84 lumber’s commercial basically screams the message, “Come to America illegally, we need cheep labor!”
Needless to say, many viewers were not happy with 84 Lumber’s decision to make a political statement during the most viewed event in the country, which isn’t surprising given the millions of people who support Trump’s policy of securing our border.  Effectively isolating a large swath of their customer base, 84 Lumber was hit with a backlash on social media, along with various customers canceling with their business with the company.
Here I am trying to enjoy the super bowl taking a break from politics and then I see this crap from Audi & 84 lumber and others. Unreal.
Hey : Cost to taxpayers each illegal alien: $35K per year. Put that in your lumber yard. See how many illegals buy your wood. Adios
84 Lumber should remove all their fences & gates and let people who don't want to pay have all the free lumber they want.  4 84Lumber
I will be closing my commercial account with . Hopefully many other Patriots will do the same. Do NOT support ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION pic.twitter.com/kWEfr9758b
84-lumber-border-wall-ad-super-bowl
Does 84 Lumber realize that the vast majority of the social justice warriors that they were aiming to please with this commercial live in urban areas and have never worked a construction job in their lives?  Meanwhile many Americans are put out of work by a flood of cheap labor, while open borders advocates gladly celebrate this phenomenon.
The commercial fails to include the realistic possibility of the mother and child becoming dehydrated, taken advantage of by human smugglers and possibly losing their lives on their journey. In the first 10 months of 2015 there were 117 illegal immigrant deaths in the Arizona desert alone, up from 108 during the same period in the previous year.
Is 84 Lumber really encouraging migrants to risk the lives of their young children all so they can get paid $5 an hour under the table to clean houses or perform manual labor on a construction site?  If things are that bad in Mexico and South American countries, then perhaps they should be encouraging their governments to resolve their domestic issues, rather than passing them off to the United States.
There is a path to legal immigration to the United States, which millions of migrants have used in the past to become citizens, so perhaps 84 Lumber should have encouraged this migrant and her daughter to invest their money into following the legal route, rather than risking their lives for a low paying manual labor job while collecting government assistance courtesy of the American taxpayer.
